​Job Overview And Responsibility

  • Setup and build Engineering team in Vietnam.
  • Leading, improving, enhancing multiple teams.
  • Coaching engineering managers to grow their utmost potentials.
  • Responsible in developing and maintaining the system to be secure, stable, easy to use.
  • Participate in preparing system requirements, specifications, and design.
  • Ensure maintainability of core app assets and artifacts.

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for a Head of Engineering that has:

  • At least 7 years of working experience.
  • Experience in fintech, lending, banking,…
  • Bachelors Degree (or above) in Computer Science from a top university.
  • Experience working in the US with a diverse international team.
  • Experience building and leading a significant software engineering team(s) within a scaling organization.
  • Experienced as a full-stack software developer: Golang, Java, Kotlin, .NET, C# / C++, Native Android, Objective C, Swift, Flutter, Angular or React.
  • Experience with building scalable, robust backend system with microservice architecture.
  • Experience with mobile and web development in multiscreen/factor (portrait, landscape).
  • Strong software architecture skills.
  • Experience building and scaling high achieving engineering teams.
  • Big picture thinking – correctly diagnosing problems and building innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner closely with Product Owners and Business Heads.
  • Has a good sense of UI/UX and design.
  • Experienced in building complex systems and modular design.
  • Good leader and experienced in lending multiple technical teams.
  • Experienced working with DevOps teams to enhance and align with the state of the art CI/CD.
  • Experienced in test automation, code coverage, and static code analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology).
  • Possesses good problem solving and debugging skills – able to identify bugs and trace them down to the source.
  • Fun to work with and a team player.
  • Willingness to learn from others, to share, and to grow.
  • Self-motivated and able to inspire people to be motivated.
