Company’s Industry Software Division (ISD) is in Company Technologies’ Products and Platforms business segment focused on engineering innovative in­-house IP, derived from expertise in delivering digital platform engineering services and R&D solutions across the product life cycle of both hardware and software.

The Industry Software Division is chartered with developing a next­-generation software portfolio leveraging AI to

transform industries such as telecom and industry 4.0.

Currently the AI based software portfolio targets:

• Telecommunications service providers optimizing or deploying 5G networks
• Product manufacturing organizations (such as aerospace and automotive) transforming with digital design and smart development software
• Global Fortune 2000 companies leveraging Enterprise AI software to drive digital innovation across business processes and functional domains­ from product support to customer experience to HR

We are currently looking for Core Java Developers as part of the 5G team within the telecom Products & Platforms group of Company. The role holder will be part of the development team of PCF (Policy Control Function) product.

Responsibilities

• Extensive development using Java programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
• Preparing HLD/LLD with the best architecture available to support customer’s requirement.
• Participating in requirements and design reviews of new features, bugs, enhancements and backlog.
• Designing high level test approaches and implementing detailed test plans based on the requirements.
• Analyzing failures and determining root cause, setting the expectations of the solution/behavior based on the requirements.
• Automating test cases written and execute as part of new feature testing and enabling automate regression runs for subsequent releases.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of working experience
• Core Java, Java Spring, Advanced Java like Multi­-Threading, NIO, Performance Tuning
• Virtualization – Containers, Docker/Kubernetes
• Networking / Telecom domain – any protocol development, preferred diameter protocol, TCP/IP Packet capture analysis (mandatory for E3.x)
• Diameter Protocols – Gx, Rx, Sy, Sd etc.
• Any DB experience
• Cloud SW deployments, Microservices infrastructure & architecture on bare metal / VM platforms.
• OpenSource tools like: Kubernetes (K8s), Docker
• Any scripting language like Shell Script, Python
• Linux internals and RPM packaging
• Basic Networking knowledge

Having good wireless background, We are looking for Java folks with experience in Policy related nodes (PCF/PCRF). At the minimum, some past experience with Diameter/related protocols and interfaces can be considered.
