Job Overview And Responsibility

• Lead the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications.
• Be responsible for all technical solutions that are used in the product.
• Accountable for maintaining a high standard of product quality and code health.
• Oversee data security and management.
• Consult with product managers, management, and clients to determine software solution requirements.
• Plan and report on progress both for day­-to­-day activity and medium­ and longer­-term projects.
• Manage all the activities of the software development team and set goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, education to team members as well as others in modern DevOps best practices and approaches.
• Conduct interviews and technical screening for open positions on the team.
• Represents the software department in meetings.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of working experience in full­-stack software development using Angular, React (e.g. Angular 8.0, JavaScript and CSS Frameworks).
• Willing to be hands­-on to build the code frameworks, refactoring and performing R&D.
• Extensive relevant experience in systems and applications management including systems/application design, backend architecture.
• Proven Experience in building SaaS Platform using Microservices, Restful APIs, Cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS).
• Strong depth of practical experience and knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading full­-stack engineering teams building services, data systems, APIs and web applications.
• Experience with engineering and operational practices and processes which promote incrementalism, frequent delivery and tight feedback loops.
• Stakeholder management -­ dealing with counterparts, investors, vendors and various business stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery pipelines and cloud enabled services and technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc).
